What's required to set up an account?
Since we don't require that you sign any term commitments, setup is relatively easy.
Just fill out an Account Application.
This can be done online, or by submitting an application via fax.
If you'd like to fax a copy of your application to us, you can download a copy or just contact our sales office at 1.800.624-6687.
Account approval is quick, too. During normal business hours*, we have most new accounts processed within one hour.
In a few cases we may ask for a credit card number as an 'Account Guarantee' in order to provide invoicing terms.
This usually only occurs when information provided by the credit bureau is insufficient, or if your company is less than 1 year old.
If there are any problems with the processing of your account, a representative will contact you promptly to work out a solution.
*Normal business hours are CST Time, 7am - 6pm Monday through Friday.

Do I have to sign a service contract?
NO. The only documentation we need to receive in order to activate your account is an Account Application with verifiable information.
The agreement that is implied by the submission of an application is simple:
- You pay for service with which you are satisfied.
- You can use our services at any time, provided your account payments remain current.
- If you no long require our services, you can stop using it at any time with no obligation.

Are there any minimum costs or hidden fees?
There are no montly minimums just for having an account open – you’ll only be billed for the services you actually choose to utilize. Your conferencing rates are determined by the promotional pricing on this site at the time you sign up for services, and are guaranteed not to change for at least the first full year of service. Default pricing for specially-requested services are subject to change, and the most recent pricing can always be found at http://www.conferencecall.com/conference-call-rates-overview.php. Due to our labor in setting up special events, you may see minimum charges per meeting if you do not meet certain criteria…check out the details below:
- Ready-Call®: no minimum charges, no setup fees...You are billed on the basis of minutes used. There is a port charge fee on calls with 26 participants or more. Please ask your sales representative for the exact amount or see information on the Standard Rates page. Port subscription plans are also available for recurring calls with 26 participants or more.
- Automated: A $30 minimum applies per conference. If the costs of your conference call (which include your per-minute rate + $7.50 setup fee) do not reach $30, your conference fee will be rounded up to help us cover the cost of your customized conference call setup. (Note: A $5 cancellation fee will apply if a call is cancelled within 24 hours.)
- Operator-Assisted: A $50 minimum applies per conference. If the costs of your conference call (which include your per-minute rate + $7.50 setup fee) do not reach $50, your conference fee will be rounded up to help us cover the cost of your customized conference call setup.(Note: A $5 cancellation fee will apply if a call is cancelled within 24 hours.)
- Taxes: We are required to apply certain federal taxes and surcharges, as well as state and local taxes as determined by local governments. See the Standard Rates page for more details.

What is the Universal Service Fund?
The USF is a government administered fund to support the provision of telecommunications services in rural and high cost areas, to low income consumers and to schools, libraries and healthcare facilities nationwide.
All telecommunications providers contribute to the USF on an equal percentage. The contribution factor changes quarterly and is currently approximately 11.4% of end user revenues.
